RESIST – Terms of Service

Welcome to RESIST. By accessing or using this platform, you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use RESIST.

1. What RESIST Is

RESIST is a community-driven platform designed for civic engagement, organizing, and collective action. Users can share information, document events, connect with others, and participate in movement-building activities.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use RESIST. By using the service, you represent that you meet all applicable age and legal requirements in your jurisdiction.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You may not impersonate others or provide false information.
• You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support.

4. Acceptable Use

By using RESIST, you agree not to misuse the platform. Prohibited activities include:

• Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse
• Posting hate speech or discriminatory content
• Spreading harmful misinformation or propaganda
• Doxxing or sharing private information without consent
• Illegal activity or content that encourages unlawful acts
• Automated scraping, spamming, or exploiting vulnerabilities

These rules work alongside our Community Standards, which are considered part of these Terms.

5. User Content

• You retain ownership of content you post.
• By posting, you grant RESIST a non-exclusive license to display and distribute your content within the platform.
• You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and safety of what you share.

6. Safety & Reporting

RESIST does not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content. If you encounter harmful or dangerous content, report it immediately using the in-app tools.

7. Mobile Messaging & SMS Alerts

By providing your mobile number, you agree to receive SMS alerts related to your account, security events, and features you opt into.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers may be shared only with trusted service providers solely for the purpose of delivering RESIST messages.

Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply.

8. Privacy

Your use of RESIST is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it carefully to understand how your data is handled.

9. Service Availability

RESIST may be updated, interrupted, or discontinued at any time without notice. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or platform errors.

10. Liability Limitations

RESIST is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for damages arising from:

• User-generated content
• Platform outages or bugs
• Actions taken based on information posted by users
• Unauthorized access to your account

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the site or communicated to registered users.
