Why we need your location

RESIST is designed to connect you with people and causes near you. Adding your dot tells us your approximate base location so we can show you local events, send you relevant alerts, and nearby organizers.

Your dot location is shared on a common map with the ability for people to connect with you via the app. For this reason, we recommend NOT using your exact home address or physical location. Use a general area, town, county, etc.

If you travel and want notifications based on a temporary location, you can add a travel dot later! If you enable mobile location services later, we can tailor information based on your actual physical location, but that information is NEVER SHARED!
